I am a second-year PhD student in the AI-Decision CDT at the University of Manchester, with a strong foundation in computer vision and software engineering. Prior to moving to Manchester, I completed an integrated Master's at the University of Sheffield, covering a wide array of topics—from foundational machine learning to applied use cases in robotics, computer vision, and federated learning. Alongside my studies, I developed a strong grasp of software engineering principles, including Agile methodologies. I also took on active leadership roles, managing teams across software development and research, and serving as President of the UoS Computer Science Society. This academic experience was complemented by an industrial placement year at Innovative Technology Limited (ITL), where I assisted in developing a new training pipeline for banknote validation software. Today, my PhD research focuses on developing advanced self-supervised techniques for 3D model feature extraction to streamline mechanical engineering design.
